I just found a yoga studio on 5th street with no membership fees or any of that crap. It’s pay by donation, and the suggested donation is 10-15 dollars. I haven’t been myself but plan to this week or next. Anyone ever been? Any advice/opinions?
This is the best spa in North America for a few years running. It’s definitely pricey, but very worth it. I’ve been going there for a few years. It’s incredible.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you: The President of The United States of America playing a prank while in Austin.

We’re already counting down the days (200!) until the 2011 Sketchbook Project Tour kicks off. But for those heading to Austin this fall, don’t miss the new show at the Austin Museum of Art. From Process to Print collects 75 printed works by Romare Bearden from a span of 30 years, offering insight into an under-appreciated element of his practice. Then wander down 6th Street and snag 2-for-1 burgers at Hut’s. Austin! We’re coming soon!

Here are some pretty awesome pictures of Austin before I-35 was built. You can see the old Brackenridge Hospital on the right. It was torn down in the 70’s for the present structure to be built.
